In the wake of the violent clash in Charlottesville, Va. last weekend, Governor Tom Wolf has urged Pennsylvania residents to unite against hatred and bigotry.
He also criticized President Donald Trump's remarks that there was "blame on both sides" during the event, which left one peaceful protestor dead and several injured.
In a series of tweets Tuesday, the Wolf said the woman who died, and the Americans who fought against Nazism in World War II, "deserve better."
One side had torches, confederate & swastika flags, Nazi slogans and bigoted chants.

Wolf reiterated his stance on the alt-right and Trump this morning.
"Those are not the values we espouse and not the values that generations of Americans died to fight against," Wolf said.
A March on Google was scheduled to take place on the company's Pittsburgh campus this weekend, to protest the firing of an employee who criticized the corporation's diversity policy. It was organized by self-described "new right" activist and Pizzagate conspiracy theorist Jack Posobiec.
Though the event has since been cancelled, Pittsburgh police and local anti-alt-right activists still believe protestors could still show up. The Governor offered his support to keep Pittsburgh peaceful.
"Anything I can do to help the local officials I'd be happy to do," he said. "But I think the best thing all of us can do is remain steadfast in our opposition to racism and bigotry those folks espouse."
