Street Stages, a new project from City Council Members Dan Gilman and Corey O’Connoralong with representatives from NextGen: Pghand Shift Collaborative’s BuskerStreet Union, is a designated space for street performers in Squirrel Hill. The collaborative space is being billed as a “third place” between work and home where friends and neighbors can gather. Gilman, NextGen:Pgh Founder and Executive Director Alec Rieger and Shift Collaborative Creative Strategist Eric Sloss share their thoughts on the project.
