In the wake of Saturday’s shooting at Tree of Life Synagogue in Squirrel Hill, several organizations are providing grief, counseling and other services to help those affected by the tragic incident. Here is a list of places to seek help and ways to give.

For those directly affected by the shooting:

A family assistance center at the Jewish Community Center has been set up for people who were in the synagogue Saturday and their family members. The JCC is located at 5738 Forbes Avenue and appointments are available via 412-422-7200 or on a drop-in basis.

For those indirectly impacted:

The United Way of Southwestern Pennsylvania has a 211 number that you can call and be connected to an operator who can help you find mental health, counseling, grief or other services.

For those looking for a way to help:

If you’re looking for a way to help, here is a list of ways to give via GoFundMe campaigns, or directly to Tree of Life congregation and HIAS.

You can donate blood via the “Stronger than Hate” blood drive at PPG Paints Arena from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday.

The United Way is also raising money for the Jewish Federation of Pittsburgh. All of the proceeds will go toward helping the community. You can give online at the United Way's website or by texting JSPGH to 71777.
