The Wilkinsburg Community Development Corporation recently commissioned a study of the finances of the Wilkinsburg School District and Pittsburgh Public Schools. The two districts say they have not been involved in the conversation to potentially annex Wilkinsburg into the city, thus merging the two districts. The financial study is expected to be completed by the end of January.
