Our summer reading series profiles Robert Rubin, chairman of the executive committee at Citigroup and treasury secretary under President Clinton. Rubin says he has eclectic reading interests and likes to read multiple books in parallel. And though he doesn't read many books on economic issues, he recently enjoyed When Genius Failed (Random House; ISBN: 0375758259) by financial journalist Roger Lowenstein. In preparing his forthcoming memoirs, Rubin has been inspired by The Education of Henry Adams.
