Behind the Scenes at the National Hurricane Center

Hurricane season officially begins June 1, and this coming Monday the National Hurricane Center will release its official forecast for the coming year.

The building itself -- a bunker-like compound with 10-inch-thick concrete walls -- is built to withstand the strongest of hurricanes.
