The value of the U.S. dollar has slipped again, but it's not all bad news.
Among other things, it should give an edge to American manufacturers, and has already helped lift exports by more than 11 percent in the first eight months of the year.
However, for American consumers and travelers, trips to Canada and wheels of French brie will cost a bit more.
