KCRW Presents: Karen O

When Karen O was 27, she'd already achieved stardom, having released three studio albums as lead singer of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. She was also quietly contemplating the makeup of her personal relationships, and secretly squirreling away notes and recordings that didn't fit the aesthetic of her current band.

Seven years later, Karen O captured those writings on the solo album Crush Songs and joined KCRW at Village Studios to record live selections with the help of Moses Sumney and Holly Miranda.
