A bad guy's anthem told in whispered come-ons and puffed-chest threats, mixed with a little of Staples' trademark ability to cut down anybody his lyrics touch a notch or two. On stage at NPR Music's SXSW showcase, Staples turned the song into a loopy party starter sewn with the seeds of its own destruction.
