New findings indicate that humans may have lived on the Americas for longer than previously thought

How long have humans lived on this continent? For decades, the most common answer has been roughly 14,000 years, based largely on carbon dating of the early human tools known as Clovis points.

But from member station KUNM in New Mexico, Alice Fordham reports that new findings add weight to arguments for a longer human history in the Americas.
