Abortion access was a leading issue in 2022 and 2023, with many states enacting laws that ban or severely restrict abortion access and others expanding access or enshrining abortion access in their state constitutions. And legal battles were waged against both. Likely, with a presidential election and lawsuits playing out in court, 2024 will be no different.
