90.5 WESA, Keystone Crossroads Community Forum - Sept. 30

Pennsylvania's cities and towns are full of promise, but plagued by problems. The appeal of urban living is on the rise. Many neighborhoods bustle with new residents and amenities. But issues such as crumbling infrastructure and high taxes linger. What can Pennsylvania's cities, large and small, do to address their problems and fulfill their promise?

90.5 WESA, WHYY (Philadelphia), WITF (Harrisburg), and WPSU (State College) have launched a statewide journalism initiative to explore these questions.  It's called Keystone Crossroads. Reporters from all four stations will fan out across the state to report on root causes and potential solutions for the Commonwealth's urban challenges.

We'd like to hear what you think.

On September 30, we're hosting a community forum at our station on the south side, and we hope you'll join us to give us your input. Make your voice heard about the issues facing the places where you live, work and hang out. You'll meet project editors and the reporting team, and hear a brief review of the project's goals. The rest of the evening will be about you and your views. We'll have small-group dialogues and you'll have a chance to give videotaped advice to the next governor of Pennsylvania.

Refreshments will be served; this event is free of charge. Space is limited, so please register here to attend.
Can't make it? We still would like to hear from you!  Tell us how you feel about your community.
