This Monday we lost a part of the public radio family when Tom Magliozzi, half of the brother team "Click and Clack", passed away from complications of Alzheimer's.
Car Talk has been a public radio program for 37 years and it continues to be one of the most popular programs on the air. Many of you have asked what will happen to the show and how to send condolences to Tom's family.
Producer Doug Berman says he talked with Ray and Ray wants to continue as a tribute to his brother. The show will be renamed The Best of Car Talk and continue to revisit the best callers from three decades of programs. 90.5 WESA will air it Saturdays at 10am and Sundays at 3pm.
Update 8:41am: The Best of Car Talk will be on Saturdays and Sundays at 10am until November 23rd, when the Sunday airing moves to 3pm.
You can sign the listener guest book here and read Tommy's obituary here.
We at 90.5 WESA thank you for your listenership and membership that has made, and continues to make, this program possible.
