This Week On The Confluence
90.5 WESA’s weekly news roundup program, The Confluence, will be taking the show on the road in the lead-up to the election.
On Friday, November 4th, 2016 the program will broadcast live from noon to 1pm at Point Park University’s Center for Media Innovation. Joining program host Kevin Gavin for a look at the 2016 election up and down the ballot are Salena Zito, Pittsburgh-based political reporter for the New York Post, former Tribune-Review reporter Mike Wereschagin, and WESA senior reporter Mark Nootbaar. Post-Gazette columnist Ruth Ann Dailey and Andrew Conte, director of Point Park University’s Center for Media Innovation will examine the role the media has played in this election year.
The Confluence—where the news comes together—is a production of 90.5 WESA, and airs on Fridays from noon to 1pm with a repeat from 8-9pm.
