“Why do we cry?” “Why does it rain?” “What is the moon made of?”

Maybe you’ve heard one of these questions from a kiddo in your life. Well, The Confluence thinks these are good questions, and we’re calling upon experts throughout Pennsylvania to help us answer them.

Kids can’t ask their teachers questions in the classroom, but they can over the airwaves.

So, what can you do? Two options. Have your kid record their question on your smartphone’s Voice Memo app and email it to or fill out the Google Form below and we’ll contact you.

No question is off the table. No query too silly or small!

To make informed decisions, the public must receive unbiased truth.

As Southwestern Pennsylvania’s only independent public radio news and information station, we give voice to provocative ideas that foster a vibrant, informed, diverse and caring community.
