Cyborg Bruce Springsteen: Social Club September 25

This weekend is going to be amazing.

Josh has been so busy with Thrival and the launch of his new podcast, Nanograms. It launches today and you can find out more about it here.

Thrival continues this weekend with their concert series this Friday and Saturday. Andrew McMahon will be there and Wale, who actually writes reviews on Yelp! Panic! at the Disco will perform on Friday as well. There will be lots of artists that especially our WYEP listeners would love. Shoutout to our sister station! Saturday will feature some local music like Beauty Slap and Lights and Raekwon and Ghostface Killah and Manchester Orchestra will perform as well. Tickets are still available.

Let’s get a little family friendly. Trax Farms 46th Annual Fall Festival kicks off this weekend and runs every weekend through October 25th.  They will have balloon chases, a rock-wall, hay rides, and you’ll be able to paint your own pumpkin.  There will be lots of pumpkin farms popping up all around Pittsburgh. You can find out more about them at Yelp.

National Aviary’s Black and White Party is this Friday. It’s a classy party with an awesome ticket price. Dress us in black and white and come out and enjoy Victory Brewing Company beer, Atrias food and your feathered friends!

Animal Friends is doing a two day celebration starting off with their Friday Fete! Kick up your heels and dance along to a ten-piece band and enjoy food and crafted brews and cocktails. On Saturday, make yourself up real nice and head on down to Animal Friends for a formal dinner, featuring jazz music and auctions. It all benefits our furry friends!

Saturday is Arbor Aid 2015, which benefits Tree Pittsburgh. Come down to Lawrenceville and join them for live music, tours of the new Heritage Tree Nursery, wood artisan demos, silent auctions and a cookie table. Got to love a Pittsburgh tradition!

Sunday is Braddock Feast. It benefits Grow Pittsburgh. A table that will span the length of Grow Pittsburgh’s Braddock Farms will be constructed, to create a gathering place for the ultimate feast. Tickets are still available.

Last but not least is the Renaissance Festival, which is in its last weekend! Come down for music, turkey legs, jousting, acrobatics and more. Josh went there last week and participated in the show! He even wore a tutu (for the show.) Time to search the internet for that!

Enjoy your weekend everybody!
