It’s Friday the 13th, oh no!

Josh from WESA and Rachel from Yelp Pittsburgh are here to help you get through the weekend without bringing yourself seven years bad luck. So remember, don’t walk under that ladder, don’t open your umbrella indoors, and for the love of all that is good in the world, DON’T BREAK ANY GLASS!

Speaking of glass, Pittsburgh Glass Center will be at the Carnegie Science Center’s 21+ Night, this Friday. Explore the science of melting glass with artists from the Pittsburgh Glass Center and make your own colorful fused-glass tile as well! Enjoy music, snacks, and a cash bar!

This Saturday is the Pittsburgh Public Market and Good Food Pittsburgh’s first Good Food Pittsburgh Cookie Swap! COOKIES! This “all the time food” (forget you, Josh), will be featured at this free event.  Bring in your cookies and sample other recipes from others. Get your Cookie Monster on.

Attack Theater is opening their season with Remainder, at the New Hazlett Theater, Friday the 13th and Saturday the 14th. Come check out this modern-dance troupe for this inventive performance!

And "give our regards to Broadway!" A Gentlemen’s Guide To Love and Murder is the Tony Award winning musical coming to the Benedum Center, November 17th.  One of the best things about living in Pittsburgh? These shows are Broadway tours, meaning they feature very talented Broadway actors. So basically, you are seeing a Broadway show, just like you would in New York City, but with less crowds and a cheaper price!

Hot Pink Dessert First is an event that focuses on the best part of the meal, dessert! Come on down to the Heinz Field Champions Club, Friday, November 13th for this “sweet” evening! The event benefits Adagio Health, and will include auctions, music and of course, dessert.

Last but certainly not least- The Internet Cat Video Festival is happening. Yes, this is a real thing.  The Hollywood Theater in Dormont will be showing all your favorite cat videos that you know and love and have watched a bazillion times. Come out from the youtube trenches and join other cat-video enthusiasts at this unique event!
