We are fast approaching the holidays. Just seven days away and only 368 days until next year’s Christmas. You should probably start shopping now…
This week, Digital Editor/Producer Sarah joins WESA’s Josh and Yelp Pittsburgh’s Rachel in discussing all the many events leading up to the holidays!
21+ Night at Carnegie Science Center is this Friday and it is all about trains. Josh is pumped (even though he doesn’t get pumped about the holidays…and you thought we forgot, Josh.) Who doesn’t remember going to the train exhibit as a child? Get your nostalgia fix and head on down to the science center. See the exhibits and grab some drinks for $10 before hand or $15 at the door.
The holiday season means that it is time to bust out those Ugly Holiday Sweaters. If you haven’t seen our WESA office holiday party photos, check them out here. The Commoner on Saturday is having an Ugly Sweater Party. Hang out, wear your ugly sweater and participate in the contests as well.
The Procrastinator’s Ball is on Saturday, December 19th at Spirit. Shop the market, check out the holiday crafts, listen to live music, eat the food, drink the cocktails and more. Sapling Press will be there if you are looking for something cute to send out for the holidays as well.
Holiday Pop Up Shop at Constellation Coffee is happening this Saturday. Enjoy last minute gift shopping by local artists while enjoying some yummy coffee. The Holiday Pop Up Shop is up from 11am-6pm.
Also, Rachel, as an early Christmas present, we found you the “Hotline Bling” Ugly Christmas Sweater. Enjoy.
Remember, no Social Club next week. Happy Holidays everyone!
