Order! Order! It’s time for Social Club. If you are like WESA’s Josh and Sarah and Yelp Pittsburgh’s Rachel,  you have been watching way too much Netflix, so it’s time to go out and explore all the fun things going on in the city. You can always watch Making a Murderer and Jessica Jones when you get back.

Restaurant Week is happening at this very moment! Hyde Park has a $35 special right now for three courses. Tons of restaurants are participating and you can try some places that might be slightly out of your price range on a regular week. It goes until Sunday, so time is running out.

On Friday, head on down to the 21+ Night at Carnegie Science Center. The theme is Rocket Science. For this event, they are teaming up with City Theatre and the cast of Some Brighter Distance, a story of a German rocket scientist who helps in the Space Race but must confront his Nazi past. They cast will be there for a Q&A session as well.

Strip District Music Fest is this Saturday. This is massive. There are going to be over 120 music acts performing at different venues all over the Strip District.  Food + music + Strip District= a great time.

Arcade Hootenanny is this Saturday at Arcade Comedy Theater. Did you know our very own Josh participated in this? The performance starts at 8pm. It’s BYOB, so come on down and enjoy classic Chicago-style improve as storytellers tell real-life stories inspired by an audience suggestion. While you are there, may we suggest picking up a drink at Sharpe Edge or Market Street Grocery?

East End Brewing brings you the “Good Wood” Beer Fest. Wigle Whiskey and East End Brewing are coming together to share some delicious drinks. Come down to East End Brewing in East Liberty on Saturday, from 6pm-9pm. Proper Brick Oven will be there serving pizza and Common Place Coffeehouse has the hook up for all you fabulous designated drivers out there.

So what are you waiting for? Go out there. Don’t be afraid of the snow.
