It's St. Patrick's Day Parade Weekend. Stay Classy, Pittsburgh: Social Club March 11

In case you have been living under a rock, this weekend marks the return of the St. Patrick’s Day Parade here in Pittsburgh. WESA’s Sarah and Yelp Pittsburgh’sRachel are here to fill you in on all your green-beer needs.

The St. Patrick’s Day parade is one of the biggest parades in the country so don’t miss out! Market Square is not what you remember. It’s kid friendly during the parade and they have really tamed it down to be a fun street party afterwards. Check out the various bars in the area to snatch up some green-beer.

Every good St. Patrick’s Day Parade participant knows that you’ll need a little substance in you before you drink that beer. Luckily, Station is now serving brunch. Fried chicken and grits, people. Rachel got a bit of a preview and said everything about this situation was right. Brunch is served on Sundays, starting at 11am.

Kegs N’ Eggs at the Biergarten is this Saturday from 7am-11am at the Hotel Monaco. Come on down for a breakfast buffet featuring St. Patrick’s Day favorites.

The Heinz History Center is now holding a 21+ After Hour Playtime. This is happening on March 10th from 5-7. Now I know what you are thinking, “This is Friday, I missed it and my life is ruined.” Well, it happens every Thursday so you didn’t miss anything! Go ahead, go relive your childhood.

Now, let’s get classy.

First Date is at the CLO Cabaret. It’s a really fun time and you get to eat and drink while you watch the show, so is there really anything better?

Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre is performing Man in Black, which is based on Johnny Cash and his music. It’s at the Benedum Center all weekend long. Excuse us while we go cry to Hurt.

We are back.

Disgraced  opens this weekend at Pittsburgh Public Theater. This Pulitzer Prize winning play revolves around Amir, a Pakistani-American whose world begins to unravel when he is mistakenly linked to a Muslim leader. Trust us, it’s a good one.

It’s going to be a wild weekend, so remember, Stay Classy Pittsburgh.
