Apparently, Harry Potter Is Not The Only Person From London: Social Club April 1

    Attention! Attention! There are things happening in the world and away from your couch! WESA’s Josh and Sarah and Yelp Pittsburgh’s Rachel are here to let you know all the fun events here in the ‘burgh.

After hours @ the Carnegie Library of Pittsburghin Oakland is this Friday from 7pm to 10pm. The theme is “London Calling.” Celebrate this British invasion with all things Sherlock Holmes, Harry Potter and Doctor Who.

Brewgrassis this Friday at James Street Gastropub and Speakeasy. The event starts at 8pm and tickets are $20. Come on down for an exciting night of killer beer and of course, some live Blue Grass.

Disco Bootiesis this Saturday at Stage AE in the North Shore. It is 15 years of Shake Your Booties, a benefit night for the Children's Home of Pittsburgh. Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres starts at 6pm, with comedian Gab Bonesso emceeing the night. Come on down for live music, dancing and silent auctions.

The Pancakes & Booze Art Show is this Saturday starting at 8pm. This is pretty much bringing all your favorite things together. It’s at Sprit and it’s going to be the LARGEST underground art show with over 50 emerging artists, live body painting and STOP EVERYTHING because they have an all-you-can-eat pancake bar.

Society for Contemporary Craft is holding their “Out of Hand Benefit” this Saturday starting at 7pm at Contemporary Craft on Smallman Street.  They promise to have a few tricks up their sleeves for this year’s benefit, so don’t miss out!

Outrageous Bingo is this Saturday at Rodef Shalom. This ain’t your grandma’s bingo, kids. Come out and support the GLBT community with Drag Bingo. Doors open at 6:30pm.
