Pittonkatonk

Pittonkatonk
Balkan Brass, Cumbia, Live Hip-Hop, Activist Big Bands, Social Justice Organizers: a one of a kind musical festival, free and open to all, connecting the dots between community, organizers, and euphoric musical experiences. An all ages community event featuring bands from across the globe. Pittonkatonk is excited to return for the eighth annual event featuring a full day of music and food including local, national, and international performers from Mexico, Colombia, Ethiopia, and beyond. Pittonkatonk started as a branch of the Honk festivals welcoming mobile marching bands from across the country. Over the last eight years we have expanded our vision of the festival to include more international performers with the hopes of establishing a free and inclusive world music festival in Pittsburgh.
