Pittsburgh: A Top Real Estate Buyer’s Market

According to the Real Estate Firm Zillow, Pittsburgh is one of the nation’s top 10 buyer’s markets. This week contributor Rebecca Harris looks at the business of residential real estate.

Harris explains that Pittsburgh is one of the top buyer’s markets in the United States, in large part because of the decrease in population that the city experienced in past decades kept housing costs low. At the same time, the influx of young professionals into the city has brought new demand for housing. These factors, Harris says, make Pittsburgh a great buyer’s market and a great area for house flipping.
