Holy Assumption of St. Mary Orthodox Church on the South Side has been running its fish fry for 10 years. It's the main source of the church's income, other than member donations.

Fish fry season has begun, so here's where to get your fish sandwiches, dinners and other Friday staples.

There are several guides online if you're looking for a fish fry near you or looking to try a new one.

KDKA has its annual fish fry guide posted. You can also find a county-by-county list on WPXI's website.

And if you're looking for a more visual tool, there's several community fish fry maps available on Google Maps. The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review is also trying its hand at a fish fry guide and has a map available on its website.

Jireh Mobile has also created a fish fry app that you can download to track ones in your area, as well as various food festivals.
