Allegheny County homicide detectives are investigating the death of a 17-year-old teen who was found dead in a McKeesport alley Sunday afternoon.

County officials say the body of Ciquann Dudley, Jr. was discovered in the 1300 block of Tube Works Alley by a pedestrian who then alerted a McKeesport police officer.

Dudley was found with multiple gunshot wounds and pronounced dead at the scene.

His death follows that of another McKeesport teen. Eighteen-year-old Morgan Dunston died of a gunshot wound to the head a little more than a week earlier, on May 24.

Police said she was shot in the parking lot of the Hot Metal Bridge Faith Community in the South Side Flats area of the city. Her mother told WPXI-TV that her daughter was "dancing in the parking lot" and hit by a bullet intended for someone else.

Dunston was described as an active student involved in many organizations who was scheduled to graduate from McKeesport Area High School the following week.

After Dunston's death, the McKeesport Area School District said in a statement that it was "deeply saddened" by what it called the "senseless violence."
