Eliyahu Gasson

Eliyahu Gasson is a newsroom production assistant at 90.5 WESA. From Pittsburgh’s Squirrel Hill neighborhood, Eliyahu is a journalism student at Duquesne University. He is the editor-in-chief of Duquesne’s student-run newspaper, "The Duquesne Duke" and the vice president of the university’s chapter of The Society of Professional Journalists which holds events promoting journalism and the First Amendment.

In addition to "The Duke," Eliyahu has bylines in "The Butler Eagle" and "Next Generation Newsroom." Outside of school and work, he can be found taking photos around the city and fishing in Duck Hollow.
