Hannah Gaskill is a Carnegie Mellon School of Art alumna returning to Pittsburgh to pursue her other passion: Radio.
Her obsession with storytelling was apparent through her art practice and only amplified itself as she began helping others tell their own stories through her work in art education at notable Pittsburgh institutions like The Mattress Factory, Assemble and Carnegie Mellon University.
After listening to WESA religiously during her daily commute, she was inspired to apply to the University of Maryland's Philip Merrill College of Journalism where she is currently pursuing her graduate degree. Hannah does print layout for UMD's prominent student-run publication, The Diamondback, and has worked as a freelance reporter with The MD Coast Dispatch and Capital News Service. She also used to dangle over top of the East Liberty skyline as an installer for artist Jon Rubin's now-discontinued project, The Last Billboard.
