Gross revenue from table games in Pennsylvania rose 15.4 percent last month compared to September of 2011 according to the PA Gaming Control Board.  In total, the state's 11 casinos generated $59.3 million in gross revenue from table games in September.

In southwestern Pennsylvania, the Rivers Casino took in $6,533,142 from 116 tables in September of this year compared to $5,433,105 from 107 tables in 2011.  The Meadows Casino had 80 tables in use in Sept. 2012, which took in $2,818,372, compared to $3,160,914 last year on 78 table games.

When comparing only casinos open during both periods, gross table games revenue was up a little less than 10 percent last month over the same period a year ago.

Sands Casino Resort Bethlehem saw the largest growth in the state with an increase of more than 50 percent over September 2011.

Adding in slots figures, combined gross revenue from gaming last month was up 3.3 percent over September 2011, to $259.8 million, the gaming board said.
