Can't We Talk About Something More Pleasant?

Beginning Friday, March 20, 2015 at 7 a.m. through Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Noon, everyone who donates to 90.5 WESA at wesa.fm/donate will be entered to win a pair of tickets for an evening with New Yorker cartoonist and author Roz Chast, presented by Family Hospice and Palliative Care on April 23, 2015 at Rodef Shalom in Oakland. Three winners will be chosen and notified early next week.

Renowned New Yorker cartoonist Roz Chastis now a New York Times best-selling author; her book, "Can't We Talk About Something More Pleasant?",has been on the best-seller list for more than 40 weeks and is a finalist for the 2014 National Book Award, the inaugural winner of the Kirkus Prize for non-fiction, and winner of the National Book Critics Circle award for Best Autobiography. Making a rare Pittsburgh appearance, Ms. Chast will discuss her graphic memoir, which recounts her experiences with her aging parents through a multi-media presentation colored with cartoons, sketches, photos and sharp wit.
