Sarah Kovash

Feb. 15, 2017, PITTSBURGH, PA—Pittsburgh Community Broadcasting Corp. CEO Terry O’Reilly today announced a pair of key leadership appointments, naming John Sutton as General Manager for 90.5 WESA, and Craig Weber as the company’s Director of Finance and Administration.

John Sutton is a Pittsburgh native with more than 30 years of public radio experience.  After a decade at National Public Radio (NPR) he founded his own consultancy serving noncommercial radio stations in small, medium, and large markets. “For two decades John has been one of the industry’s leading experts in programming, research, and fundraising,” said O’Reilly. “He returns home to Pittsburgh with a wealth of experience, and he will play a key role in leading the planned expansion of 90.5 WESA’s news and information services."

Craig Weber joins Pittsburgh Community Broadcasting from Pittsburgh’s Hill House Association, where he has served as Senior Accountant. He brings over 20 years of leadership and experience at local nonprofits to the position, in which he will oversee financial and administrative functions for both 90.5 WESA and its sister station, 91.3 WYEP.  “Craig has served Pittsburgh’s nonprofits with skill and integrity, and we are excited that he has decided to join us at this important moment in the Company’s growth,” said O’Reilly, who was appointed as the company’s first CEO in July 2016.

Both Mr. Sutton and Mr. Weber will  formally assume their positions at Pittsburgh Community Broadcasting in March.
