A bulldozer knocks down a brick wall from a building that once stood on the 1100 block of East Carson Street on Friday, Feb. 12, 2021.

Workers continue to dismantle the charred building on the 1100 block of East Carson Street. The structure caught fire Monday and partially collapsed. The South Side Chamber of Commerce, a barber shop and six tenants had been using the 140-year-old building.

Workers swept up bricks and other debris as the bulldozer sent them hurdling toward the ground. Nearby, a large truck was poised to remove the pile.
