The latest Superman movie Man of Steel opened last weekend to record box-office. The character, created by two guys from Cleveland, has been recognized as one of the leading pop culture icons.

Superman has been featured on radio, television, comics, and the movies. However, Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster, creators of the visitor from the planet Krypton never shared in the wealth that has come as a result of their imagination. Their story is chronicled in the new book Super Boys by Brad Ricca.
