What could a merger between media giants Comcast and Time Warner mean for cable television, the internet, and consumers? We’ll pose that question to Philadelphia Inquirer consumer and technology columnist Jeff Gelles and Jeff Ritter, La Roche College Associate Professor, and Chair of Communication, Media, and Technology.

The Chair
A new documentary series titled The Chair is being developed and filmed in Pittsburgh. The show follows two up and coming directors as they compete to make the best feature film using the same script and the same resources. Production begins this month with participation from a wide range of Pittsburgh groups, including Point Park University. The Chair is the brainchild of Chris Moore, producer of Good Will Hunting, Promised Land, and creator of Project Greenlight. He joins us along with Point Park University Cinema Chair Nelson Chipman.
