Reducing Smog Pollution in PA

This past Saturday, Governor Corbett’s Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) published a draft plan intended to reduce dangerous smog pollution that puts nearly two-thirds of Pennsylvanians’ health at risk. However, some feel the expected plan falls short, failing to set meaningful limits on smog-causing pollution from the state’s largest emitters – coal-fired power plants. We’ll get perspective on the plan from Kim Teplitzky, deputy press secretary of the Sierra Club. 

Wade Davis

From "NFL to LGBTQ" is an event being hosted by Sewickley Academy featuring an appearance by former pro football player Wade Davis who is openly gay. Mr Davis played parts of seasons with the Tennessee Titans, Washington Redskins and Seattle Seahawks as well as for teams in NFL Europe. After ending his career, Mr. Davis came out and is now Executive Director of the You Can Play Project promoting equal opportunity in sports regardless of sexual orientation. He joins us in studio.
