Long before O.J. Simpson, the court case referred to as the trial of the century involved a Pittsburgher. Harry K. Thaw stood trial for the murder of famed architect Stanford White as a result of his jealousy over the relationship between his wife, model and chorus girl, Evelyn Nesbit, and White.
