Presidential Polling In The Swing States And Striking Musicians

The latest presidential polls show Democratic presidental candidate Hillary Clinton with a slight lead over her Republican rival Donald Trump

Poll Dancing

The latest polls are showing  Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton with a lead over her Republican rival Donald Trump. Pennsylvania’s role as a swing state in the election is still crucial to the outcome of the election. Joining us to discuss the latest polls are reporter Tom Fontaine from the Tribune Review and Katie Meyer, state capitol bureau chief for WITF.   We’ll also check in with our swing state neighbor to the west – Ohio. ML Schultze, digital editor and political reporter for WKSU fills us in on how the election is playing out in the buckeye state.

Unfinished Symphony....Schedule

Heinz Hall has not been alive with the sounds of music. At least, not from the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra. Last week the musicians went on strike for the first time in decades. Post-Gazette reporter Elizabeth Bloom and The Incline’s Sarah Anne Hughes have been covering the story.

From crime reports to a study on floodgates as well as marking the 10th anniversary of the city’s 311 system. We’ll get a quick take on some of Pittsburgh’s top news stories this week with Charlie Deitch, editor of the Pittsburgh City Paper and freelance reporter Kim Lyons.
