Hidden Poison

Hidden Poison is a new collaborative series between 90.5 WESA and its partners the Allegheny Front, Keystone Crossroadsand Public Source. The series covers problems caused by lead found in our environment from drinking water to paint. Joining us to discuss the series are Allegheny Front reporters Reid Frazier and Julie Grant. Also taking part in the conversation are Keystone Crossroads reporter Margaret J. Krauss and 90.5 WESA reporter Liz Reid.

Graham Spanier Trial

The trial for of former Penn State President Graham Spanier got underway this week. Spanier is charged with conspiracy and endangering the welfare of children. Prosecutors said he and two other Penn State administrators failed to act on a report of sexual abuse by former football coach Jerry Sandusky. We’ll discuss the latest developments in the trial with Katie Meyer, capitol bureau chief for WITF.

The Trump Budget's Impact on Pittsburgh Arts

Last week's announcement of President Trump's budget has a number of arts organizations concerned. Joining us to look at the impact Trump's budget will have on the local arts scene is Bill O'Driscoll, reporter for the Pittsburgh City Paper.
