FAQ: What an end to federal funding for public radio would mean for WESA

The exact calendar days for the 2026 NFL Draft, set to take place in Pittsburgh, have been announced.

Pro football's annual collegiate player selection has been set for Thurs., Apr. 23 through Sat., Apr. 25 of next year.

Tourism organization Visit Pittsburgh has launched a page dedicated to the draft, complete with a visitor's guide, frequently asked questions, and a "Welcome to Pittsburgh" video.

According to the FAQ section, an exact location for the event has yet to be set, but the North Shore and Point State Park figure to play a prominent role.

2024's draft took place in Detroit. The 2025 event is scheduled to take place in Green Bay, Wis.

Pittsburgh hosted the draft once before. The 1948 player selection ceremony took place on Dec. 19, 1947 at downtown's Fort Pitt Hotel.
