Roll up your windows and lock your doors: things are about to get loud, distorted and nasty. This week on Alt.Latino we're making a ruckus with garage rock bands like Mexico's Los Romanticos De Zacatecas, Spain's Guadalupe Plata and Puerto Rico's Davila 666. We also check out heavy industrial beats from Argentine group Mueran Humanos that have us dusting off our black mesh tank tops and goth boots. These bands revel in rough, abrasive sounds that hurt so good.
But in case you're in the mood for something a little softer, we've got your back. Lido Pimienta sings about love and progress in her native Colombia and A Banda Mais Bonita da Cidade, a delightfully upbeat Brazilian band, will warm your heart.
Grab your water and get ready to sweat. Alt.Latino is only for the strong.

Esta Semana En Alt.Latino: Música Nueva de México, Puerto Rico Y Más
Alboroto, bullicio, clamor, escándalo: todas palabras que bien podrían usarse para describir mucha de la música que tenemos en el show de hoy. Tenemos bandas fuertes, con personalidad, como Los Románticos De Zacatecas de México, Guadalupe Plata de España, y Davila 666 de Puerto Rico. Además, les presentamos a Mueran Humanos, un grupo argentino basado en Berlín, que con sus letras macabras y sonidos industriales, nos tiene con ganas de ponernos las botas de cuero y el lápiz labial negro.
Pero por si se les antoja algo más liviano, también tenemos música para relajarse. Lido Pimienta canta sobre el amor y progreso en su Colombia natal, y A Banda Mais Bonita da Cidade, una encantadora agrupación brasilera, nos llena de buenas vibras.
