People chase their endless summer in different ways. Some visit ballparks, others beaches. A dedicated group of fun seekers visit amusement parks in search of the perfect roller coaster thrill ride.
Travel contributor Elaine Labalme, suggested three out of state coasters to visit in the next few months.
- Cedar Point
Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio is home to roller coasters, a water park and world famous hot dogs.
- Coney Island
Coney Island is a name everyone recognizes. Located in Brooklyn, New York, Coney Island features thrill rides, boardwalk games and Nathan’s Hot Dogs, home of the annual world famous 4th of July hot dog eating contest. Currently the park is open on weekends, but it will open up to weekdays starting in June.
- The Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk
The Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk has been a staple of Northern California entertainment since 1907. It is recognized as one of the best seaside amusement parks in the world. It features a wooden roller coaster, boardwalk games, and an indoor arcade with a two-story mini-golf course and laser tag.
