This internship offers a great opportunity to be a part of WESA's most-listened-to hours of its day. We are looking for someone who is a dependable early riser (6-7am start time) and can handle working in a fast-paced environment.
Morning Edition intern duties:
- prep traffic reports (collate data from NAVTEQ, PennDOT, Twitter and other sources, and write copy for broadcast)
- produce promos for afternoon programs
- maintain program log
- man social media feeds (monitor incoming, update outgoing)
- write/edit news copy
- monitor Associated Press wire and websites for breaking news
