Aurora Shares A Breathtaking Video For 'I Went Too Far'

In a breathtaking backdrop for her "I Went Too Far" video, Aurora is both grieving and soaring. The video cuts back and forth to Aurora against a waterfall and, in some scenes, climbing up a long ladder that appears to stand in the middle of the ocean. Shot in Iceland, the video was directed by Arni and Kinski, who have previously worked with artists like Florence And The Machine and Of Monsters And Men.

The Norwegian synth-pop artist demands to be loved kindly, over and over, as she triumphantly sings, "Give me some love / Give me some love and hold me." In an email, Aurora writes that we're too often "crawling on our knees to be recognized, loved and accepted. Because that is not good love. Love should only be beautiful, not horrible."

"I Went Too Far" comes from Aurora's debut album, All My Demons Greeting Me As A Friend, out now via Glassnote.
