unstitch is a big-hearted and unadulterated tour through the organs of a soft and scarred body being torn apart at the seams. Artist Anna King Skeels takes us through the journey of a fat queer person. This work in process examines our relationships with others and the trauma we have endured with our bodies. Centering movement and fiber arts, the gutsy, fluffy unstitch invites you to FEEL.
Freshworks is KST’s creative residency for Pittsburgh-based artists and collaborators. It supports playful exploration in performance through interdisciplinary work in contemporary dance, theater, music, and multimedia. The program provides artists with financial resources, studio space, production staff, lighting and sound design, professional development, and encouragement for creative risk-taking.

“Oneness: Brie Ruais”, the first in Contemporary Craft’s new Tomayko Solo Artist Elevation Series, is a solo exhibition featuring the work of ceramic artist Brie Ruais.
The exhibition is a large survey of work, spanning eight years and exploring the idea that memory, place, and experience are based on an individual's perception and haptic experience.
Each of Ruais' works start with clay equal to Ruais’ body weight at the time. From there, she uses her body as a tool to push and shape the clay into its final form, completing the work in under 15 minutes.
“Oneness: Brie Ruais” is on view Feb. 2 - May 4, 2024. Admission is free.

Harry Manx has spent years fusing eastern musical traditions with the blues, switching effortlessly between conventional guitars, harmonica, and banjo and the decidedly different Mohan veena, a 20-stringed instrument invented by Manx’ Indian mentor Vishwa Mohan Bhatt. Manx is often referred to as the “Mysticssippi” Blues Man, because of his expertise in melding both East and West music together and therefore, “creating musical short stories that wed the Blues with the depth of classical Indian ragas.”
Over the last 10 years, Harry Manx released 11 Albums and has garnered a room full of awards including, “seven Maple Blues Awards, six Juno nominations, the Canadian Folk Award in 2005 for Best Solo Artist and won CBC Radio’s “Great Canadian Blues Award” in 2007.″ His most recent accomplishment was receiving yet another Juno Nomination for “Blues Album of the Year,” for his release, “Bread and Buddha” in 2010.

In 1926, radium was a miracle cure, Madame Curie an international celebrity, and luminous watches the latest rage-until the girls who painted them began to fall ill with a mysterious disease. Inspired by a true story, RADIUM GIRLS traces the efforts of Grace Fryer, a dial painter, as she fights for her day in court. Called a "powerful" and "engrossing" drama by critics, RADIUM GIRLS offers a wry, unflinching look at the peculiarly American obsessions with health, wealth, and the commercialization of science." - Dramatic Publishing
