The surge of the extremely infectious omicron variant continued over the holidays, and the number of COVID-19 cases rose in Allegheny County and across the country.
Some people may want to get tested after spending time with family and friends. You can find a full list of all COVID-19 testing sites in the areahere.
Allegheny County offers fixed testing sites, opened every day except holidays, at the Parkway Center Mall, McKeesport, Carnegie Museums of Art and Natural History rear parking lot, and the Chartiers Valley Shopping Center.
The county also offersfree mobile COVID testing sites. Pre-registration is required for most locations — due to high demand, locations may not take walk-ins. Here are the locations and registration links for the mobile testing sites in and near the county this week:
