"To those who would tear this world down: We will defeat you," Obama said in his victory speech Tuesday night. "To those who seek peace and security: We support you."

In his victory speech on Tuesday night, Barack Obama addressed his worldwide audience: "Our stories are singular, but our destiny is shared," he said, "and a new dawn of American leadership is at hand."
