October 2 is Arts Day of Giving
Arts Day of Giving, affectionately called ArtsDOG, is an 18-hour opportunity for arts lovers to donate online to their favorite arts and culture nonprofits and have their contributions partially matched by The Pittsburgh Foundation, making their dollars go further.
90.5 WESA is a public radio station. Instead of being licensed as a commercial enterprise, our license was granted to our community. As a cornerstone of that community, you are a cornerstone our future. Your support is vital, helping to build and improve our station as a valued independent source of news, arts and entertainment for our community. Programs like The Moth Radio Hour, This American Life, Wait Wait…Don’t Tell Me! and Essential Pittsburgh are broadcast locally because of support from active listeners like you.
This October 2nd, become a member or give an additional gift on this special match day. Your support will help 90.5 WESA continue not only to be the source you trust for local, national and international news and perspectives, but also to help inform you in ways that are engaging—and inspiring—ways that provide you with the background to discuss community issues that are important to you.
The October 2ndArts Day of Giving is sponsored by the Greater Pittsburgh Arts Council and The Pittsburgh Foundation. Please save the date and plan to participate—it’s simple…
