Three Republicans seeking the party's nomination to challenge Democratic Gov. Tom Wolf in November's election will take their first debate questions together as their campaigns gather signatures to get on the primary ballot.

Thursday evening's hour-long debate is at Harrisburg Area Community College and will be broadcast live on TV.

The candidates are lawyer Laura Ellsworth, ex-health care systems consultant Paul Mango and state Sen. Scott Wagner. Three candidates appeared together in three previous forums where they didn't have the chance to respond to each other.

Journalists from Pennlive and WHP-TV of Harrisburg will moderate. It'll be broadcast live by WHP-TV and sister stations around Pennsylvania. The primary election is May 15. Wolf is seeking a second term and is unlikely to face a primary challenge.
