Twin Shadow is George Lewis, a man whose soulful, crooning vocals tease out the aching sense of longing of his lyrics. He also wrote and performed the entirety of his 2010 debut album, Forget. Produced by Grizzly Bear's Chris Taylor, the record is filled with lovelorn synth-pop backed by crisp drum machines and sparkling electric guitars.

Touring as a four-piece outfit, the addition of a live drummer to Twin Shadow's lineup adds nervous energy to Lewis' songs. It comes through clearly during this Sasquatch set on album highlight "Castles in the Snow," which boils over with tension: Lewis' cries of "everything I touch goes cold" reveal an unresolved unease.

Recorded live at The Gorge on Monday, May 30, Twin Shadow performs live at the 2011 Sasquatch Music Festival outside Seattle, Wash.
