Dan Tyminski and Ronnie Bowman perform on Mountain Stage, recorded live in Elkins, W.Va. Tyminski and Bowman are already two of the most beloved vocalists in bluegrass; when they appear on the same stage, it counts as a bona fide destination event for fans of roots music.

A performer since the age of 3, Bowman went on to form The Lonesome River Band and has become a household name in the bluegrass community. He has been awarded the IBMA Male Vocalist of the Year three times, and has twice earned the prestigious IBMA Song of the Year award. Singer and picker Tyminski set off a popular renaissance in roots music when he became the singing voice of George Clooney in O Brother, Where Art Thou?. Since 1994, he has been a key member of Alison Krauss and Union Station, arguably the most visible and successful bluegrass band of the modern era.

Bowman and Tyminski have known each other for decades, and have continued to perform together when their schedules allow it. Here, they cover a range of favorites, closing with Tyminski's well-known take on The Stanley Brothers' "Man Of Constant Sorrow."
