Ride over to BikePGH's Commuter Cafés on Bike to Work Day for free breakfast in the AM, free snacks and a discounted drink in the PM, and to receive a special gift when you become a BikePGH member.

Immerse yourself in the magic of literature at the 2024 Greater Pittsburgh Festival of Books! The third annual event will take place on May 11 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Pittsburgh Theological Seminary, located at 616 North Highland Ave., Pittsburgh, Pa.
The Festival is FREE for all ages and will feature author talks, poetry readings, workshops, book signings, children’s and young adult activities, performances and much more.

Car-free streets are yours on SATURDAY MAY 11, 2024.
This free community event invites Pittsburghers to reimagine our streets as places for people, community, and connection.
People of all ages and abilities are invited to enjoy a day of active fun: Walk, run, bike, skate, roll, dance, and enjoy the road at your own pace! With activities hosted by dozens of local businesses and organizations along the route.
Inspired by the global open streets movement: Hundreds of cities around the globe celebrate open streets to promote car-free transportation, healthy outdoor activity, and community engagement using city streets.

The inaugural Keystone Burlesque and Variety Festival launches with a Teaser Weekend event in Pittsburgh May 24-25, 2024. The showcases will take place in the city’s Allentown neighborhood, at the Storyville Lounge (a speakeasy behind Dr. Tumblety’s Time-Inspired Specialty Shop) and new Spirits Distillery next door.
The Keystone Festival will feature two showcases on the Spirits Distillery stage – each show will feature different casts of Pennsylvania performers, as well as acts from across North America. After each show, there will be a private party in the Storyville Lounge with intimate performances and hand-crafted, Prohibition-style cocktails. Audience members will be encouraged to come dressed for a Prohibition party on Friday and for a Vegas-style Rat Pack bash on Saturday. Audiences will not want to miss a single show or party!

Join us at Construction Junction, 214 N. Lexington Street in North Point Breeze, to Sip ‘n Shop. Happening 6pm-8pm the last Saturday of the month April through September. There, you'll get to shop CJ’s aisles, listen to live music, make crafts using reusable materials, purchase food and drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), take guided behind-the-scenes tours of our facility, learn about the importance of reuse and conservation, and explore the other tenants in CJ’s building including Free Ride, The Pillow Project, and Pittsburgh Center for Creative Reuse.
